Life in the Cotswolds is dictated by the beautiful
countryside. Sheep and arable farming is still a significant
industry, giving employment to many either directly
or indirectly.
The weather is typically quite mild, with a summer
average around 20°C and winter around 5°C.
There are many activities that are enjoyed by the people
in the Cotswolds from the mummers' plays in Gloucester
to the 6-a-side football in the river in Bourton and an interesting relay race in Tetbury
where the participants carry a 50lb woolsack up and down the steepest streets (a reminder of their woollen past).
