One of the very few remaining truly traditional pubs left in Stratford. The Old Tramway is only five minutes’ walk from the centre of town down the original old tramway track running through the park with views of the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. The pub serves excellent home cooked traditional British cuisine with open fires in the winter and a large secluded garden with al fresco dining for the summer with ample parking. If you want to experience British pubs as they should be, then The Old Tramway fits the bill. The Seagrave Arms is a charming country inn and restaurant with six en-suite guestrooms. The King’s Head is a traditional 15th Century village inn located in picturesque Aston Cantlow in the heart of Warwickshire approximately 6 miles from Stratford-upon-Avon. It is a listed building oozing with character with its original oak beams and open fires. The building and area are steeped in history including the church next door where Shakespeare’s parents married and they are rumoured to have held their Wedding Breakfast in The King’s Head.
