The Royal Shakespeare Theatre
The biggest of all the RSC theatres in Stratford and also home to a shop, a bar and a restaurant, where you can dine in style overlooking the River Avon watching the boats and swans. Visit the Quarto's Restaurant for pre or after show meals.
In the foyer of the Royal Shakespeare Company theatre you can buy plays and everything Shakespearian - books, cards, pencils, bookmarks, T-shirts and official RSC posters advertising the plays.

This building has problems for access, related to its age, however, there are many provisions made for people with disabilities. There is a ramp leading from the car park into the theatre. Alternatively, access is via a flight of stairs to the front of the building.
The foyer is flat and level, and has a fully accessible toilet, and a low level public telephone. Braille plot synopses are available on request from the cloakroom.
The high counter of the Box Office is listed, and therefore unalterable. However, there is a low counter to the right of the entrance, which is accessible by wheelchair. There is flat and level access to the Stalls, where there are eight designated areas for wheelchairs. Please ring in advance to reserve places, and to request assistance where required. A wheelchair users ticket includes a seat for an escort.
Flights of stairs lead to the Quarto's Restaurant, however there is flat and level access to the RSC Café Bar. More stairs are ascended to reach the Circle and the Balcony.
